Along swimming in the beach, fishing is a very popular activity as well! You can cook fish that you caught at the camp site

Luciola cruciata(genji-botaru) and luciola lateralis(heike-botaru) inhabit Ajihara river in Hamasaka, Shin Onsen-cho. This place is protected by local residents with cleanup activities and maintaining a path. The best season to see firefly is in the middle of June.
